Rebecca (Becca) Brittain is an Associate at DCH Law LLP. She advises a range of clients, including project developers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, on the structuring and negotiation of complex commercial agreements critical to the successful development of renewable energy projects and the supply of renewable energy assets.
Her practice includes drafting and negotiating equipment procurement agreements (covering solar photovoltaic modules, battery energy storage systems, and balance-of-system equipment such as inverters and transformers), services agreements (including long-term services agreements for battery storage assets), engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreements, and consulting services agreements. Becca works closely with clients to ensure contracts are strategically structured to support project timelines, mitigate risk, and align with current market terms and industry standards.
Prior to joining the firm, Becca served as a North Carolina Judicial Fellow, providing legal support to Superior and District Court judges across the state.
Becca earned her J.D. from Elon University School of Law and a master’s degree in environmental law and policy from Vermont Law School through a dual degree program completed in 2018. During law school, she clerked for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division and completed a full-time residency-in-practice with the Southern Environmental Law Center.
Becca is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources Section.
