Kjirsten Durand-Johnson

ASSOCIATE

Kjirsten Durand-Johnson is an Associate at DCH Law LLP.  Her areas of interest include corporate transactions focusing on renewable energy, as well as financial and land-use implications of renewable energy projects.

Kjirsten completed a dual degree program in 2020, receiving a J.D. from Elon University School of Law in December and a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School in October.  During law school, Kjirsten was a legal intern for the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Office of General Counsel, and completed a full-time residency-in-practice with Syngenta Crop Protection LLC. She also served as Managing Editor for Elon Law Review and as a teaching assistant for the first-year legal research and writing courses.

Kjirsten holds an active membership in the North Carolina Bar Association’s Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources Section. 

During her free time, Kjirsten enjoys connecting with nature, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their dogs—Little Man, a chihuahua, and Ladybug, a rescued boxer-pit mix.
